Full-time employee by day, self-taught design enthusiast mostly by night, Rug Around the Clock is the lovechild of two of my passions.
You guessed it: my passion for interior design and my passion for building websites from scratch.
I have more experience in the latter: I’ve coded my first website in a language called Perl.
It was 2000, people who were born that year are now allowed to vote and rent a car. Also, the interwebs looked quite different than it looks today.
Back then, it seemed that the internet would be the next big thing.
After a few bumps, then, this sentiment proved to be right.
And funny, as it may seem, building websites never ceased to amaze me. If I could do anything I wanted to, you know what I would be doing?
Building websites.
I’m a ‘better done than perfect’ and a ‘move fast and break things’ type of person (too bad I didn’t invent Facebook. I think it could have worked…)
