Where do you place round rugs?
The most frequent use of round rugs is in the dining room, under a (round) dining table.
With that said, however, round rugs can anchor any room whose proportions are relatively close to a square. Be it a living room, or even a bedroom.
One note of caution: please, in the name of style, and good taste, do not use round rugs under rectangular dining tables!
What are round rug sizes?
Standard round rug sizes are 4′, 5′, 6′, 8′, 10′, and 12′. These numbers refer to the diameter of the rug, not the radius, though.
Are round round rugs in fashion in 2023?
The need for round rugs is hard to replace, thus, round rugs are here to stay: they will always be in fashion. The style of a fashionable round rug, however, can change from time to time. But all things considered round rugs are not exempt from the latest rug trends you can observe with other shapes and sizes.
If the rugs in the post are round rugs, why do I see pictures of rectangle rugs?
Safavieh Rugs is one of the most popular major rug brands out there, and their most popular designs are sold in multiple colors and sizes. These sizes cover different aspect ratios as well, so the rug you see as a rectangular, area rug, might also be available as a round rug, a runner rug, or a square rug as well. Product images are for illustrational purposes. In some cases, if you click over to the vendor’s page for details, you can see additional images of other variations, including different colors and sizes.
